Every guide states the distro version, kernel and test date, shows expected output for every command, and includes a "If this fails" section. SELinux and firewalld are always handled properly, never disabled as a shortcut.

- [The kde-redhat project, 2003-2013](https://kde-redhat.org/origem/): this domain originally hosted the kde-redhat packaging project, which shipped up-to-date KDE packages for Red Hat Linux, Fedora and RHEL for a decade and preceded Fedora's KDE SIG. The page preserves that history. The current site is run by new custodians of the domain, publishing new field guides in the same spirit.
